Classical Ballet Program
Ballet Révérence offers a carefully structured program designed to improve a student’s technique, stamina, artistry, and maturity. Our rigorous program includes ballet technique, pointe work, men’s technique, contemporary dance, modern dance, pas de deux, and conditioning.
AUDITION
All new students must attend an audition to be considered for enrollment. This audition will resemble a placement class or a private evaluation with our Studio Director.
During the audition, we look for students who are passionate about the art form and motivated to pursue intense training. Prior ballet experience is required to be considered for enrollment into our Classical Ballet Program.
Once accepted into the program, students are assigned to one of five levels based on their age, experience, and skill level, beginning with Classical Ballet 1 for ages 10 and culminating with Classical Ballet 5 for students ages 16 and up. As students progress through the levels, classes increase in difficulty, preparing students for professional ballet careers.
Students joining our Classical Ballet Program must be prepared to prioritize ballet as their primary activity. Classes meet 4 to 6 days per week. Daily attendance is mandatory.
Progress is assessed annually and determines class placement for the following school year. Students may spend more than one year in each level.
